Located in an industrial estate in an idyllic Mediterranean coastal city, this project is currently well under way. The final designs are nearing completion as are the preliminary site clearing tasks with construction anticipated to commence in May.

Jayde Deverson and Equus Bespoke Garages were approached by the owner’s agent to design and carryout a full make over and interior fit out for a 6000 square metre, multi-level warehouse. The brief was clear, make it very sexy and fit in as many cars as possible.

Working with the local authorities and initial trades, we will completely strip and refit the entire warehouse envelope and create a striking new facade, utilising locally sourced stone.

This is a very involved and highly detailed project, requiring significant attention to the design details. To complete this task, we will utilise a mix of local trades and bring in our expert, inhouse tradesmen and technicians from Equus’s highly skilled and talented workforce.

It must include private function spaces and open spaces for large gatherings of friends.

The lower level is to be set aside for various workshops where trade technicians will carry out various maintenance and customisation tasks as well as the usual high-level detailing.

As per most of the luxury garages, we undertake, this project includes high-level audio-visual components and other very clever technological features.  Once again, we turn to Kyron Audio and their radically designed, open back loudspeakers. These were the inspiration for the aptly named, and elevated, Gaia Lounge.

As we approach completion of the hard structure designs, we will proceed to the soft furnishings design, hardware selections, paint colours, artwork and the many custom joinery features we are well known for.

I am particularly excited about working with an Australian automotive sculptor, now residing in the US, on two ¾ size super cars as a static wall mount display. More to come.

We are very proud to have been selected as the building makeover and interior designer for this very special and unique space. We anticipate great things for this space as the owner has very kindly allowed us to document the process and share imagery as we proceed. However, as is customary for most of our projects, the location and client’s identity will remain quite secret.
